Dr. Ashley Hottman, OTD, OTR/L*
*Licensed in Texas and Colorado
Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Infant/Pediatric Specialist, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy Provider

As the proud founder & President of Peakside Pioneers and your occupational therapist, I’ve turned my passions into reality. I get to bridge quality care and advanced clinical skills together within the home environments where my values are at the heart of every visit and interaction.
I have received my Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (2020) and Bachelor of Arts in Medical Anthropology (2015) from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. These experiences alone have paved the foundation of my clinical practice and my drive to dig deeper into understanding the “why” behind challenges and implementing the best approaches available for you.
My background is rooted in a positive, playful, and compassionate approach to therapy that respects, responds to, and represents your loved one’s interests and strengths. I have explored various types of pediatric settings, from hospitals to homes and schools to early intervention – I have experienced it all! Including care in large metropolitan areas and rural areas across the United States and abroad. It is my goal to bring you quality care and a little bit of insight from all of these experiences to you so that you feel confident and well-supported in accessing care for your loved ones.
Over the last several years, I have gained thousands of hours of clinical practice and hundreds of hours of advanced training to learn all that I can to support your little one’s needs. I’ve completed various courses, including Gillespie Approach – Craniosacral Fascial Therapy to relieve fascial strain, to SOS Approach to Feeding, to content on Breastfeeding and Lactation, oral ties, and infant airway development. Whether it is through developmental milestones, bodywork and manual therapy approaches, eating and feeding skills, to overall infant and toddler health and wellness, I am here for you!
At Peakside, I will bring quality care to you! Within your home, your community, and your sacred space, you can receive wonderful care that is evidence-based and just downright, respectful and high-quality. I can’t wait for us to meet and to begin your journey with Peakside.
