Craniosacral Fascial Therapy is
The missing piece to releasing tension and restoring your health.
What is
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
Gillespie-Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is an advanced manual therapy that combines cranial sacral therapy, myofascial release therapy, and dental techniques. This gentle, hands-on approach, developed by Dr. William Sutherland, John Barnes, and Dr. Gillespie, aims to relieve bodily tension and enhance the flow of cerebrospinal fluid by targeting the interconnected fascial and cranial systems.
What are the
Therapeutic Benefits
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) works by gently releasing strain in the fascia, which helps restore optimal movement and flow of cerebrospinal fluid. This process improves brain function and overall health by ensuring the cerebrospinal fluid can freely nourish and cleanse the brain.
Removing fascial strain from childbirth and early traumas can alleviate various childhood issues and positively impact long-term health and wellness.
CFT is beneficial for people of all ages (newborns to adults) and addresses a wide range of conditions.
What causes
Fascial Tension
The fascial system is connective tissue that supports and protects the body’s muscles, organs, and overall structure. It forms a continuous web throughout the body, safeguarding against trauma and aiding in movement. The craniosacral fascial system, starting around the brain and spinal cord, extends through this web, allowing cerebrospinal fluid to flow freely from the brain down the spine and into the fascia.
Various things impact the health of this system, such as birth trauma, physical trauma, repetitive stress and repeated movements, prolonged postures, emotional stress, poor posture, injuries, overuse, inadequate movement, inflammation, etc.
